Process
I started off with simple, straight-on concept sketches exploring interesting silhouettes. After finding a design I liked, I made a 3/4 view sketch to visualize the volumes of the design and a couple of keyframes to plan for animation. Then, I made a painting focused on composition, color scheme, and lighting to provide direction for the 3D scene in Unity.

Digital Board Game Environment
I worked on the environment for the digital conversion of the board game Everdell. My goal was to make the 3D environment art match the remarkable illustration from the original board game. Everdell was released cross-platform on Android, iOS, PC, and Switch.

This game is permanently installed in the Meow Wolf Convergence Station in Denver, CO. I made concepts as well as 3D environment and character art for the project. I also worked on concepts and the physical construction for the piece.
